To create a system restore point in Windows, follow these steps:
- Open the System Properties window by pressing the Windows key + Pause/Break or right-clicking on the Start menu and selecting “System”.
- Click on the “System Protection” tab.
- Click on the “Create” button.
- Type a name for the restore point (e.g. “Before installing software”).
- Click on the “Create” button.
- Wait for Windows to create the restore point.
- Once the restore point has been created, you will see a message confirming that the process is complete.
That’s it! You now have a system restore point that you can use to revert your computer to a previous state if something goes wrong. It’s a good idea to create a restore point before making any major changes to your system, such as installing new software or making system configuration changes.
