How to set up and use Windows Hello for secure sign-in

Windows Hello is a secure sign-in method that uses biometric data, such as facial recognition or a fingerprint, to log you into your computer. Here’s how to set up and use Windows Hello:

  1. Go to “Settings” and select “Accounts”.
  2. Click on “Sign-in options” and scroll down to “Windows Hello”.
  3. Click “Set up” under the Windows Hello option you want to use (facial recognition, fingerprint, or PIN).
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up Windows Hello. For facial recognition, you’ll need to position your face in the camera frame and follow the prompts. For fingerprints, you’ll need to scan your finger multiple times.
  5. Once Windows Hello is set up, you can use it to sign in to your computer by simply looking at the camera or scanning your fingerprint.

Note: To use Windows Hello, your computer needs to have a camera or fingerprint reader that supports Windows Hello. You’ll also need to have a password set up for your account.

That’s it! You have now set up and can use Windows Hello for secure sign-in to your Windows computer.
